I absolutely LOVE every time I get booked to photograph a wedding that’s taking place at Lake Bluff Preserve in Frankfort, MI. This place is a photographers DREAM!
“Stunning private vacation houses built on the high bluffs of Lake Michigan. The three large Upper Bluff homes offer spectacular lake views and sunsets from nearly every room, wrap around decks and dune fire pits. Additional rentals on the lower bluff for events and weddings are available. The preserve is 1 1/2 miles north of Frankfort and forty-five minutes to Traverse City. Many activities abound just outside your door. Come relax on the deck and watch eagles soaring overhead.”
I have photographed weddings at The Birch House right on the bluff, as well as a home nestled in the woods called The Dune House.

This venue is great because it gives you the options of having a wedding in the pines, or having one overlooking Lake Michigan. It doesn’t matter which way you turn, there’s always a beautiful view.
