Toledo Country Club Wedding | Finding the perfect wedding venue
Choosing your perfect venue is a job in itself! I feel like one of the most important things you can do is consider your vision + style, your guest count, and your preferred season, then use those tools to find venues that can accommodate both. We are in the midst of a wedding boom (thanks to Covid reschedules) so be sure to start the hunt early! Wedding venues play a huge role in the vibe of your wedding day. Do you want something formal and elegant, fun and casual, boho and beachy? All that plays in when choosing the perfect venue for you. If you need some recommendations, I’d be happy to recommend a few of my favorites!
But, for now.. lets talk about my experience photographing a gorgeous wedding at The Toledo Country Club in Toledo, Ohio.
What REALLY stood out to me most about this venue is the abundance of natural light in the banquet areas. I LOVED that wedding guests could walk out of the reception area to find another area to enjoy. The patio has space for a DJ or live band and includes a dance floor lit with string lights and beautiful landscaping surrounding it all. All overlooking the lavish golf course, which makes a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photos. Ceremonies are often held outdoors on the grounds overlooking waterfront views of the Maumee River.
