A Wedding at The War Memorial
Mary and Jake were married at the GORGEOUS War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms on July 1, 2023 and we were lucky enough to have been chosen to document every detail.
Both the bride and groom got ready on site.
Mary opted for a first look with her bridesmaids and her father and brothers.
…as well as a sweet, private vow reading instead of a first look in the Palm Room. The couple opted to not see each other before their ceremony.
The ceremony took place outdoors in the back of the venue overlooking the beautiful Lake St Clair. Even though rain was in the forecast, it held off for us. I’m SO glad it did because the view was amazing!

Emily at The War Memorial was on top of everything the entire day - so grateful for all her help! I also felt equally lucky to be able to spend the day working along side Julia of Julia Seitz Films. A little behind the scenes..
The reception was equally breathtaking.
The reception was equally beautiful and so much fun. Tony with TNT Sound Productions kept the dance floor moving all night.
